#AtoZChallenge: Grace

It’s the 7th day of the A to Z Challenge, and I’ve managed to stay on top of the writing, by the grace of God! Speaking of grace…well, that’s my word for the day.

I suppose grace is one of those things that is talked about all the time, but rarely do I pause to think about what it means. Grace…I glanced at Wikipedia just to see its definition today: “the love and mercy given to us by God because God desires us to have it, not because of anything we have done to earn it”.

Can you say wow?

Stop and think on it a minute. Grace is a 100% free, 100% undeserved gift from God, evident in our everyday lives, whether we realize it or not. It’s nothing short of a miracle that the God of the universe wants to know us and loves us. Even more, He loves us unconditionally. No matter how much we mess up, how many times we sin, or how often we turn away from Him, God still extends His grace to us.

He still shows His love, if we stop to realize it. He protects us and plants little seeds in our heads, of dreams He has planned for us.

God never stops giving us His grace, but do we pay it forward? <–Click to Tweet!

I pray to be a little more graceful to those around me. As someone who wants to emulate God’s love to others, I need to be a little better at loving unconditionally. We’re imperfect humans, but through the grace of a perfect God, we can learn to love like Him. <–Click to Tweet!

Friends, I pray today we can all share a little more grace, starting with just one action today. What do you think?

I’ll leave you with this song to play you out…
